Thabang is an executive director of Adamantem, and leader of the financial services industry group.
He provides strong technical and operational support to the restructuring team, including management of strategic supplier relationships and financial modelling. Thabang has extensive knowledge of the financial services value chain gained from years as an audit partner in the financial services team at Deloitte and has extended his knowledge to fintech start-ups. He also has experience in the technical aspects of the mining value chain. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte, where he became a partner in 2013.
Bongani, a co-founder and executive director of Adamantem, leads the operational restructuring team.
He has a deep understanding of financial reporting systems and is a specialist in working capital management. Bongani expertly leads the operational restructuring efforts ensuring the implementation of a restructuring plan and effecting operational improvements in the business. In this role he brings strong leadership, implementation-focus, positive change of culture and a solutions-oriented adaptability, all very critical for success.
After acquiring degrees from the universities of Cape Town and KwaZulu-Natal, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte, where he was a partner from January 2015 to June 2017. Bongani is a member of the South African Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners (“SARIPA”), the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (“SAICA”) and SAICA’s Business Rescue Interest Group.
Charles is the Chairman of Adamantem and leads the Corporate Finance practice.
He has more than two decades of experience in corporate finance and is an expert in due diligence and valuations. He has worked across various sectors, including financial services, telecommunications, media, consulting and IT. Prior to joining Adamantem, Charles was the Country Managing Partner at Deloitte, Ghana where he successfully restructured the business, resulting in significant growth in revenue and profitability. Charles is a Chartered Certified Accountant and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Siviwe is co-founder and managing director of Adamantem.
A professional of three decades spread across banking, big 4 accounting firm experience, restructuring and turnaround profession and, briefly, in the civil service.
Siviwe has been involved in some major and complex business rescue and restructuring assignments in South Africa all of which included major stakeholders with varied and significant exposures and interests.
Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte, he became a partner in 2006. He is a member of various professional organizations in South Africa and regularly contributes to panel discussions on restructuring matters.
